Brief description of the project:

Within the project “Production of second-life battery modules”, ZTS VV is working on the production of second-life battery modules from electric vehicle batteries. This project is based on the fact that when the battery capacity drops below 80%, the driving comfort decreases due to the shorter range and the need for more frequent recharging. Inan electric car, the battery becomes inconvenient to the user. However, after the regeneration process that ZTS VV is developing, the battery will be suitable for use in other, less dynamic applications. The final product of the project will be a regenerated battery module with a guaranteed lifetime and guaranteed parameters for stationary use, preferably in the energy sector.
