Since 2018, ZTS – Výskum a Vývoj has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015. Thanks to the implementation of the management system, the management of company processes has been improved, risks and collisions of information flows have been eliminated, and costs have been reduced and work efficiency increased. Overall, the certification has contributed to improved achievement of the Company’s business objectives, including strengthening of our position in the competitive environment not only in the domestic but also the foreign market.

ZTS – Výskum a Vývoj is also a holder of the Certificate of Competence to Conduct Research and Development, which is issued by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. This certificate allows us to apply for EU grants focused on innovation, science and research.

Brief description of the project:

Within the project “Production of second-life battery modules”, ZTS VV is working on the production of second-life battery modules from electric vehicle batteries. This project is based on the fact that when the battery capacity drops below 80%, the driving comfort decreases due to the shorter range and the need for more frequent recharging. Inan electric car, the battery becomes inconvenient to the user. However, after the regeneration process that ZTS VV is developing, the battery will be suitable for use in other, less dynamic applications. The final product of the project will be a regenerated battery module with a guaranteed lifetime and guaranteed parameters for stationary use, preferably in the energy sector.
